Colton + Jessica's Rustic Fall Wedding | Alford's Glen | Garrettsville, Ohio | Ohio Wedding Photographers

Colton & Jessica are the kind of couple you meet and immediately just feel so happy for—happy that they found each other and decided on forever. These two complement & complete one another in such an awesome way. I’m certain anyone who knows them will agree.

They got married on what I’m convinced was one of the most beautiful fall days of the year. Their big day was held at Alford’s Glen - a lovely, rustic barn venue surrounded by gorgeous woods. I knew this location would be perfect for such an outdoorsy couple—after getting to know them a little bit during their engagement session and throughout the wedding planning process. What more could you ask for than to roam through the sunlit forest after exchanging your vows with your best friends by your side? It was magical!

The bridal suite is located in the basement around the back of the cute little cottage. How cute?!

Colt’s daughter (and now Jessica’s stepdaughter!) was the sweetest flower girl.

There’s nothing like your mom helping you get into your dress on one of the best days of your life. :)

Jessica wanted to do a first look with the girls. Always one of the best moments of the day for everyone!

Doesn’t she looks ABSOLUTELY stunning?!

Slate blue and beautiful blooms. Jess did a great job choosing all of her wedding details.

Jessica’s stepdaughter surprised her by bringing her earrings so she could change into them to walk down the aisle. Precious!

Colton and the guys were busy getting ready too. I loved that they chose navy blue as it photographs so beautifully with the girl’s slate dresses!

Nothing can break the bond of a mother and son. :)

Jess wanted to do a first look with her dad right before the ceremony. I LOVE when brides do this. What an amazing memory they’ll both have forever.

The ceremony was SO sunny but Colt was incredibly thrilled to finally see his bride. :)

The blending of their little family. <3

Off into the woods we went for bridal party portraits! The extremely kind and thoughtful staff over at Alford’s Glen drove everyone out to the pretty spots in the woods so no one would have to walk super far or waste time - how nice of them! When we got there everyone just stopped and said, “Wow!” It was such a gorgeous hidden gem.

Jessica’s train literally made everyone gasp in awe. Isn’t it beautiful?!

“Link arms and skip towards us!” Makes for some of the best shots haha!

I think this really gives you an idea for just how pretty Alford Glen’s property is. Colt and Jess look like angels up there!

Jess told me she specifically wanted photos of Colt kissing her shoulders. I thought that was such a sweet and intimate idea!

Time for the festivities to begin!!

White House. Need I say more?

They chose to offer dog treat bags for guests with pups. One of the most Pinterest-worthy things I’ve seen all wedding season!

Have I mentioned these two are fun?! :)

Surfing USA.

I think everyone would agree this was an event highlight! Colton thought he’d be removing the garter from Jessica. She had mischievous plans.

I’ve never seen guests laugh harder at a reception!!

Special thanks again for choosing us to capture your memories, Colton & Jess! It was truly such an amazing day.
