We don’t know where to begin with this amazing wedding! Hannah & Keegan’s big day was so epic and featured so many sweet moments in one of our favorite cities, Pittsburgh! This was such a special day, and Donny & I are so happy we were able to be a part of it! :)

Keegan & Hannah’s relationship began on a funny note. Long story short, in college Keegan needed a textbook that Hannah happened to be selling, having taken the same class the semester before. Keegan purchased the book, despite Hannah totally ripping him off! He didn’t mind the outrageous price, although it would have been an issue if Hannah wasn’t so cute! Let’s just say Keegan made a wise investment in his future. He used this as an opportunity to later ask Hannah out, and she used the opportunity to say yes! So, Keegan, in a way, kind of tricked Hannah into a first date, or maybe Hannah tricked Keegan by playing hard to get, or they tricked each other haha Almost six years later these two are married & happier than ever! #SellingaBookWasAllitTook is definitely a fitting wedding hashtag for them! I can also totally relate to this story because Donny actually tricked me into a first date, too! Eight years later, we are happily married, doing life together & running our own business! So, tricks are okay sometimes, I guess…

Hannah + Keegan were married at Cross Roads Presbyterian Church in Monroeville, PA. What started out as a cold & rainy morning turned into an absolutely beautiful, sunny, & warm fall afternoon. (As if weather would have changed any of our plans anyway! haha) Their indoor ceremony was so beautiful, featuring lots of laughs, tears, and heartfelt moments! It was amazing to see the strong bond that Hannah & Keegan had with their pastor, who had plenty of personal stories to share about Hannah, in particular, that made the mood so humorous & lighthearted! It was a treat for loved ones who cracked up every couple seconds at moments! (The church sanctuary was also so pretty!) Their ceremony concluded with an amazing kiss & celebration that extended outdoors for a gorgeous, sunny bubble exit. It was a very momentous afternoon!

After their amazing ceremony, the party shifted to downtown Pittsburgh for bridal party photos! We all hopped on a trolley and made our way to Roberto Clemente Bridge & Allegheny Landing for some sunny pics with an awesome group! This spot offered such an iconic view of the city! We basked in the sun on a day we thought we’d be holding umbrellas and hiding from the wind and rain—we got lucky! Everything worked out great weather wise and we finished at the bridge, capturing a few awesome bride & groom portraits and bridal party photos with the trolley before heading to the doubletree for the reception! :)

The party moved to the DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel & Suites in downtown Pittsburgh for a more than lively reception! This was such a beautiful & fun event! It featured so many emotional moments between loved ones and had tons of heart. Besides the events, Hannah + Keegan’s reception was decorated so beautifully! We fell in love with all of their details, specifically their gorgeous cake, floral arrangements, & desserts. We particularly liked the Cleveland Browns & Pittsburgh Steelers cookies! This was such a good idea and suited Hannah & Keegan so well! Given that their family is split between Steelers fan & Browns fans (a conundrum for our area living between the two worlds), they made a point of incorporating Hannah’s love for the Steelers & Keegan’s love for the Browns. They also did this during their engagement session, too, which we photographed in Cleveland last fall! Both wore different jerseys to showcase their pride (and competitive natures)! Given recent events between the two teams, I don’t think peace is a likely solution anytime soon, but Hannah & Keegan have the blueprint for a deal if one is possible in the future! haha

Anyway, we absolutely loved this wedding & we’re so honored and happy to have been able to capture all of these special moments for Hannah + Keegan! Enjoy some of our favorite shots from this amazing day! :)
