I don’t know how to even begin to describe Gage + Emily’s special day. It was so joyous, relaxed, fun, & intimate. Their wedding was a beautiful celebration of their lovely friendship and commitment to one another, and it most definitely suited these two well! Gage + Emily’s big day was amazing and Donny & I are so happy to have been a part of it! :)

Emily + Gage are one of the sweetest and most unique couples we’ve had the opportunity to work with! These two have been best friends since childhood and have done life together as a team for many years before deciding on forever! Gage + Emily’s relationship is so rare and admirable, and it doesn’t take more than a moment to realize how well these two work together—or how cute they are! It was so sweet witnessing family members and friends reaffirm this sentiment during the big day as each spoke to the very special friendship that Gage + Emily have, while joyfully celebrating the commitment of two of their favorite individuals. It was especially cool seeing how close family members were to one another and how integrated Gage + Emily’s families already are—a product of a strong foundation and friendship that will most definitely lead to a long and happy marriage for these two who said “I do” at Five Fillies Farm on a sunny September afternoon.

Gage + Emily’s ceremony was so special. Emily’s little sister kicked off the celebration by singing beautifully and fearlessly for her two favorite people and admiring loved ones! After much anticipation, Gage + Emily emotionally exchanged their vows, cried a little, laughed and smiled a bunch, shared a beautiful kiss, and exited to their favorite TV show’s anthem, The Office theme song (now, it will be stuck in your head all day!). Huge fans of this amazing show, the bride and groom wanted to incorporate it into their big day. Donny & I absolutely love The Office as well, so this was so cool for us to witness and capture! (Gage + Emily actually also named their puppy Dwight and even brought Dunder Mifflin sweaters & pretzels as props for their engagement session last year!) Needless to say, Gage + Emily’s wedding was very unique and special!

Emily + Gage’s reception was also full of so many sweet moments! The bride & groom shared a special dance with one another, swaying through magical clouds of bubbles blown by their awesome bridal party who were so much fun all day; Emily shared an emotional dance with her parents and Gage with his mother; and loved ones gave some hilarious & emotional accounts of the bride & groom that highlighted the big day. After these special moments, everyone appeared to be on the dance floor for much of the night, something that is actually harder to come by at most weddings today. The night concluded with an amazing glow stick exit that was one of our favorites of the year! Oh, and we were also able to sneak out and catch some gorgeous sunset photos at the farm, which made such a pretty wedding venue—hosted by some of the most hospitable people you’ll meet!

Gage + Emily’s big day was so unique & wonderful all around! It is definitely one that Donny & I won’t forget! We’re so happy to have been a part of their gorgeous wedding and to have had the honor of working with such an amazing couple! We are beyond excited for Gage + Emily & wish them all the best on their new journey together!!
