Dustin + Debra's Intimate Outdoor Wedding at Marshall's Pastures & Fellows Riverside Gardens

Although this year has definitely been tough & unique, we’ve also enjoyed the opportunity to photograph small, laidback weddings a lot. Each and every wedding we’ve done so far this year has been so joyful, unique, & relaxed, even despite the difficult circumstances and uncertainty! Dustin & Debra’s intimate wedding at Marshall’s Pasture was no different. It was short, sweet, and so much fun! Everyone enjoyed themselves, kicked back, and watched love at work, celebrating the bond & commitment of two wonderful people joining forces as hubby & wifey.

Dustin & Debra’s big day began at Fellows Riverside Gardens in Youngstown, OH. Here, we started with a first look. This was such a sweet & FUNNY first look. Traditionally, the bride taps on the groom’s shoulder before he turns to see his stunning wife to be for the first time. Debra had other plans, however. As she approached her soon to be hubby, Debra gave us a funny face and slapped Dustin right on the butt! He immediately started laughing—and we started cracking up behind the lens as well! This set the mood for a fun session at Mill Creek Park that was also SOOO pretty! After adventuring around Fellows Riverside Gardens for a bit, we headed to Marshall’s Pastures to get these two officially hitched.

Marshall’s Pastures was the perfect venue for Debra & Dustin’s intimate wedding. It offered a beautiful outdoor ceremony site that was so cute, featuring a gorgeous natural backdrop, including a pond. Its large, wide open yard/field, wagon, classic victorian sofa, & barn were perfect for photos, too! Definitely a nice rustic setting for any small wedding! (You also can’t beat being able to see—and pet, if you’re lucky—horsies.)

While this year has changed A LOT of plans, especially wedding plans, and hasn’t been the easiest, it’s also personally given us time to reflect on how appreciative we are for everything we have. We’ve noticed this same thing with our couples and families as well. Many have turned to smaller gatherings and more intimate arrangements out of necessity, but most couples have expressed that their big days have been even better than they had even envisioned them! For Dustin & Debra, this year simply couldn’t ruin their plans—only change them. Through it all, it’s been so nice to see that love isn’t fazed by even the hardest circumstances.

Donny & I are so thankful to have been able to be a small part of this one of a kind day and capture so many special moments for Dustin & Debra! We wish them all the best and a lifetime of happiness!

Thanks, again, for choosing us to photograph your big day, Dustin & Debra!! We’re so happy for you two and so thankful to have been able to capture these special moments for you! :)
