Stephen & Alexis had a magical wedding day! It may not have been exactly what had been planned before coronavirus hit, but it was completely amazing and none less special!

Although this year has definitely been tough & unique, we’ve also enjoyed the opportunity to photograph small, laidback weddings a lot. Each and every wedding we’ve done so far this year has been so joyful, unique, & relaxed, even despite the difficult circumstances and uncertainty!

Today on the blog I’m featuring Jayden + Jamie’s stunning wedding at Stambaugh Auditorium in downtown Youngstown! Jayden and Jamie are some of the happiest, most go with the flow type of people I’ve ever met. I knew this about Jamie when I first met her years ago while studying art and working at Youngstown State University. She would seriously just make me laugh every time we were together because she has such an infectiously joyful personality. When I met Jayden a year ago for their engagement photos I knew they were a good fit for each other. These are truly my favorite kind of couples. The ones you just look at and go, “good job at finding one another!” They’re just so cute and perfect together!

Alex and Becca are the kind of people you want to be friends with – that’s the best way I can describe them! We met up on a frigid, snowy day at Poland Municipal Forest for a fun, nature-filled engagement session. They brought along their beautiful white husky, Hafis, their parents, and fresh coffee and creamer to share (which totally went a long way because we couldn’t feel our fingers)! Poland woods quickly turned into one of my absolute favorite photography locations in the Youngstown area. It just has so many unique elements and lovely scenery!
