Jerald + Hannah's Beautiful Fall Engagement Session at Fellows Riverside Gardens & Mill Creek Park Suspension Bridge | September 16, 2019 | Fine Art Youngstown Wedding Photographer

A couple of weeks ago, Donny & I met up with Hannah + Jerald at Mill Creek Park to celebrate their engagement & upcoming wedding! They chose the always gorgeous Fellows Riverside Gardens & Mill Creek Park Suspension Bridge (also known as the “Cinderella” Bridge) for their session locations, and we had such a pleasant, peaceful evening to capture some magic with these two!

Jerald + Hannah’s session was so chill, laidback, & fun! These two were so cute together, smiley, and not at all awkward in front of the camera like they had said they might be! Despite their initial reservations, Hannah + Jerald completely rocked this entire session and were total naturals! This is almost always the case with couples who aren’t used to being photographed professionally, and it’s totally normal for all those couples out there nervous about how they’ll appear! (Donny & I had jitters taking our engagement photos, too!) We understand it can be intimidating, but we promise, the photos always come out great! :)

If you haven’t met us, Donny & I are very down to Earth, easy going people and we never want to make anyone feel uncomfortable during our shoots. We always make a point to ask our clients what they prefer and feel comfortable doing because these photos are, after all, about THEM. As artists & visual authors, we aim to tell unique stories. Yes, there are favorite poses that we like personally and find work for most clients, but we always make sure that each one of our sessions & weddings is tailored to the unique personalities of those we’re photographing! Authentic & candid is always preferable, but it’s a total team effort to capture the magic that we always strive to capture! We get so much joy out of taking our clients input and vision and making them a reality!

Hannah + Jerald were such a pleasure to work with throughout their engagement shoot and Donny & I had so much fun with these two! We cannot wait for their wedding next year!! :)
