Jimmy + Marissa's Lakeside Engagement Session at Edgewater Park Beach & Cleveland Lakefront Nature Preserve in Cleveland, OH | September 26, 2019 | Cleveland Wedding Photographer

A couple of weeks ago, Donny & I had the pleasure of photographing Jimmy + Marissa (and their adorable fur baby, Moose) in celebration of their engagement & upcoming wedding next year! We traveled to Cleveland for this adventurous lakeside session and it was so much fun! :)

Marissa + Jimmy recently moved to Cleveland from the 330 and wanted to incorporate their new home, and newly made memories, into their engagement session. They decided to use one of their favorite local spots, Edgewater Park Beach, as well as Cleveland Lakefront Nature Preserve, for their session locations, and these spots were so pretty! Both offered gorgeous natural landscapes close to the big city! Although we have photographed at Edgewater Park, we hadn’t shot at the preserve before. It was very nice, secluded, and tucked away from the main urban setting, sprawling with deer and other creatures. It hardly felt like Cleveland at all, that is until we walked to the lake for sunset photos and got a cool view of the city—and my were these beautiful!! This was an awesome find by Jimmy + Marissa who wanted to escape the big city and add some variety to their photos beyond Edgewater Park.

Donny & I had so much fun exploring Cleveland with Marissa + Jimmy—and Moose, too! These two were so fun, friendly, & adventurous, unafraid of getting soaked by crashing waves, walking what was probably a few miles, or dealing with some crazy wind on the lake. We really enjoyed hanging out with and getting to know these two, and their session is one of our favorites of this year!
