We’re beyond excited to share this unique & stunning snowy Disney themed wedding at the Vineyards at Pine Lake! It was a MAGICAL day to say the least, full of so many beautiful moments! Chilly temperatures didn’t deter any of us from jumping into the frigid snow for the perfect shot & having a blast! Donny & I are so happy to have had the opportunity to be apart of yet another beautiful, special day for this sweet family and we’re so happy for Andrea & Derek!

Back Story of Bride & Groom
Andrea and Derek met at East Liverpool City Hospital. Andrea was finishing up her 4th year of medical school and Derek was in his intern year of residency. Andrea first met Derek at a murder mystery dinner held by the residency program. As Derek recalls the events of that night, he had asked Andrea to take a selfie in their murder mystery attire to which she replied with “I’m not interested in dating, sorry”. However she did give in and take a selfie. In the following weeks, their friendship blossomed and they began to talk on a daily basis, including sending memes over Instagram and snapchats. Andrea claims that she first began to take notice of Derek as being more than a friend when she has called him at the gym and pleaded him to come do a procedure for Dr. Barnett (one of the old school ED physicians). Derek obliged and came to the rescue in his gym clothes. Instead of learning a new skill and procedure, Andrea was way more interested in looking at Derek with his post gym pump. Over the next several months as Andrea transitioned from a medical student to an intern, the two spent more time together. It was during this period that Andrea played one of the oldest tricks in the book and began inviting Derek over for dinner at her house. What started off as a dinner one or twice a week quickly developed to a daily occurrence. The two denied any feelings at this time yet were attending movies and social gatherings. Despite the rules the two had made in place to not date co-residents, the love bug eventually bit the two. What was an innocent friendship quickly bloomed into their now relationship. Derek finally decided to propose to Andrea on August 30th, 2020. With the help of Derek and Andrea’s persistently meddling, yet loving and supportive, program director, Derek was able to design devise a scheme for the proposal. They planned on having an “end of licensing exam” party for both Derek and Christopher (one of Derek’s closest co-residents and now fellow work partner). Derek had planned on having his closest friends and Andrea’s family present during this party. Derek gave a toast, which was very uncharacteristic of him, and went around the room thanking everyone present that evening. Finally coming to Andrea, thanking her for being by his side through the tough times of residency and life. He reached into his pocket and pulled out the ring and asked Andrea to marry him. Luckily for Derek, she said “Yes, Thank you!”
