Katie & Kent's Bluebell Engagement Session at Poland Municipal Forest
Spring has sprung, and Donny & I are so excited to share this unique April engagement session, featuring an adorable couple & the BLUEBELLS of Poland Municipal Forest in Poland, Ohio!!
Katie & Kent recently got engaged & almost immediately afterwards Katie reached out to see if we could take Spring engagement photos. When Katie mentioned wanting to use the bluebells, we knew it was going to be AMAAAZING—with a little planning! Since we had an early spring this year, we really had to watch the weather and flowers closely to make sure we didn’t miss peak bloom. (There’s always such a short window of time each year for bluebells.) Katie checked in on them every so often over the course of a few weeks and we adjusted plans here and there. We’re so glad we were able to incorporate these gorgeous bluebells for Katie. They were SO pretty!
As much as we absolutely loved photographing the bluebells, it was equally enjoyable hanging out with Katie & Kent! They are SUPER sweet, down to Earth, intelligent, & fun. They make such a beautiful couple! Both are teachers and share a passion for instructing kids. They complement each other so nicely and have such a good energy together! We couldn’t get enough of their natural playfulness! They made our jobs very easy.
We had so much fun exploring Poland Municipal Forest & Poland Library with Katie & Kent, getting to know each other, chatting about life & wedding plans, and making each other extremely hungry by discussing dinner plans during our session. (Donny & I get so excited before sessions and forget to eat sometimes haha or evening sessions fall around dinner and it’s a toss up. We all decided on Chipotle afterwards, so it worked out for everyone, but the distraction was real for a bit haha!)
Katie & Kent are getting married in October and we CANNOT wait for their big day! :)
