Last month, Donny & I had the pleasure of photographing Tommy + Teddi’s gorgeous June wedding in Youngstown, OH. They had absolutely perfect summer weather for their big day, which featured so many unforgettable moments. Tommy + Teddi’s wedding was so special, sweet, & beautiful and we’re honored to have been a part of it!

The day began with details & getting ready. During this time—typically a couple hours before the ceremony—we like to creatively style the rings, shoes, tie, invitations, dress, & any other details that our couples wish to have photos of. Teddi’s details & dress were absolutely gorgeous & Tommy’s attire was so classy—you can’t ever go wrong with Rondinelli Tuxedo Company for men’s attire! Following details, we photographed the bride & groom getting ready before the big reveal. We always like to capture honest & emotional candids during this time of great anticipation, too!

Tommy + Teddi were married at Kidston Pavilion in Fellows Riverside Gardens on a beautiful sunny June day. Their outdoor ceremony was short & sweet. Tommy + Teddi braided their cord of three strands, exchanged rings, & said “ I do” in front of admiring loved ones. Tommy then dipped his loving bride low for their big kiss & the two celebrated their union becoming official! This was such a sweet moment! 🙂

Following Tommy + Teddi’s ceremony & family portraits, we headed to the Suspension Bridge in Mill Creek Park to grab a few bridal party & bride + groom photos before going to Lanterman’s Mill. We always enjoy photographing at these iconic local destinations considering how much style & class they have to offer. Mill Creek is truly the gem of the Valley. After wrapping up at Mill Creek, it was onward to The Barn & Gazebo in Salem for the reception!

Tommy + Teddi’s reception venue was gorgeous! Although barns are a bit trickier to photograph in, their personality & rustic nature is always so fitting for outdoor Ohio weddings. We loved all of the barn decorations as well as the centerpieces, signs, flowers, & wedding cake—this was especially cute as it featured a detailed topper characterizing the bride & groom along with their fur baby. Everything was stunning and came out beautifully!

Beyond the pretty details, it was also a night full of sweet & emotional moments, and plenty of partying! Tommy + Teddi shared intimate dances with their parents, threw some cake in one another’s faces, enjoyed some funny stories, tossed the bouquet & garter, and partied with loved ones! The night concluded with an awesome glow stick exit! It was the perfect ending to a wonderful day!
