Last weekend Donny & I had the privilege of photographing Ben + Angie in celebration of their engagement & upcoming wedding next year. We chose the beautiful Fort De Soto Park in St. Petersburg, FL as our location. This has quickly become one of our favorite spots to shoot on the gulf given the variety of settings offered, including the beach, pier, fort, a 19th century battery, and surrounding land. Donny & I thoroughly enjoyed every moment of this gorgeous sunset engagement session with such a lovely soon-to-be-married couple!

These two were such a joy to be around; I felt like they were old friends. We had a great time roaming through the paths, petting dogs (YAY to people who let me pet their dogs!!), swatting all the mosquitos (oh, Florida... #swampland), and soaking up the evening golden sunlight.

The whole setting was so magical and snow even fell the entire time we took photos! I don't think we could have asked for a better day.

They're so sweet, fun, full of life and completely in love with each other. Their connection is so undeniable and pure. You couldn't tear these two apart if you tried. It's couples like this who make me feel extra honored and excited to do what I do. I couldn't wait to document one of the best days of their lives!
